Activate coverage to produce new results
Commercial coverage is monthly and tied to the CAR, Brazil’s Rural Environmental Registry identifier. New analyses, reanalyses, reports, dossier versions, or packages require coverage.
This is not a per-download or per-user fee. Coverage must be active for every CAR involved in a new result.

One coverage. Several authorized participants.
A producer, professional, cooperative, or operator can pay for a CAR. The same coverage can serve authorized participants without charging again for each user.
Payment does not grant ownership, representation, or access to someone else’s data.
Example: two CARs in the same result
An 80 ha CAR falls in the BRL 97.00 monthly band; a 300 ha CAR falls in the BRL 197.00 band. If both need activation for the same result, their monthly fees total BRL 294.00. If one already has active coverage, another user does not need to pay for it again.

Questions before you start
Do I need to request a demo to explore Trace?
You do not need a demo appointment to start registration and explore the environment available to your role. You can get to know the program before purchasing coverage. If you prefer to speak with the team, contact is still available.
Do I pay only when I download a file?
No. Registration and initial organization are free, but billing is for monthly coverage per CAR, not per download. Producing a new analysis, reanalysis, report, dossier version, or package requires active coverage for the CARs involved.
Does every user need to pay for the same CAR?
The same coverage is not charged again just because another authorized participant uses the CAR. Payment does not replace access, representation, or sharing permissions.
What happens when coverage expires?
Authorized access to data and historical artifacts remains available. To produce new results, coverage for all CARs involved must be active.
Does payment guarantee EUDR compliance?
No. Coverage is commercial: it does not establish environmental compliance, change the score, or enable submission to DDS/TRACES. Assessments, credentials, and authorizations have their own requirements.
